Got this on prime day. Yes, this is the same as the Micro SD version. In terms of performance this is right there with the Kingston Cards but not Quite as fast as ProGrade. Which is double the price. This is my go to card for use in a camcorder that does 1080p and lasts well beyond 4-5 hour recording.A case for the card wouldve been nice but thats being greedy.

I use this card in my full frame photo camera because I know it is durable and reliable in general I would always suggest a person use Samsung products based off of my experiences with other stuff they make

The speed on this card is adequate for my canon eos r, bought 2 on my upcoming trip to Disney world with the families, great for busy shooting mode with no buffering, can’t go wrong with Samsung card,

Got this inexpensive and reliable SD card for quick interviews on my Canon cameras. I can use it for either my Canon 5D IV DSLR camera or my Canon R5 mirrorless camera. Read speeds are fast enough for 4K recording at both 24 and 30 fps. Definitely worth considering, especially from a reputable brand with amazing storage products like SSDs.

I purchased this SD card as a cheap extra storage for my laptop, other devices aside from cameras take sd cards as well. The average write/read speed is around 30 mb/s although that is likely due to a slow sd card reader on my laptop. The sequential read speed for many small files is extremely slow, less than 1 mb/s. Beware if you are trying to buy a "faster" sd card make sure your sd card reader is fast or you can buy a usb sd card reader that is fast.Also the amount of advertised space is 35 gigabytes less, you get 477.50 gigabytes, 34 gigabytes less than 512. Although this is a pretty normal issue where memory card manufacturers sell cards with less space than advertised. That said it cost me 30 dollars, less than most other 512 or 477.50 gigabyte sd cards so I will keep it. It also has a 10 year warranty.

This card has been very reliable for saving many video and music files for editing. If you have a problem writing to it you'll need to change the settings so your port does not time out. The quick fix is to unplug and replug it and use it immediately.

As a photographer, I much have dozens of SD cards of assorted capacity. So, when I had the opportunity to add the opportunity to purchase another size up, this was an easy purchase. Samsung is a name you can depend on, and coming straight from the manufacturer unlike most generic brands, I didn't have to worry about reliability nor quality. It easily met the standards for storage and write speed, it advertised. And now that prices for similar size as well as availability has become scarce, it was good value for the money spent.

I purchased two of these for a trip out to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I did not want to run out of space while on our trip. These cards performed well and had plenty of room. I easily could have used just one, but I like to swap cards so that if there is a problem, I do not lose all my pictures. Thankfully, after 3 years these cards are still working well and have had no issues. I have upgraded to a mirrorless camera and these continue to work well even with the larger files and much quicker shooting rate.

I purchased this to be used as GD-EMU storage for my Sega Dreamcast (VA1, the original release in the US). Swapped out my GD-ROM and replaced with a SD Card reader in a 3D printed GD Rom mount. It works without issue on my Dreamcast. I stored 70 games and I'm barely 1/4 full on this card.

Got it on sale. Works well in my point and shoot camera (ricoh gr iiix). Seems like a good value with a reputable name brand behind it.
