I got this for use as a dashcam storage device in my Tesla. I couldn’t get the smaller model, but this one is still very convenient and feels high-quality.

These drives are very fast and work well. I bought some cheaper flash drives with lower specifications. These wrote at an average of 30 MB/s while the cheaper ones were 4 or below, and often less than 1 MB/s. The case seems very solid, and feels like metal although it may not be. I bought the 64 GB capacity. Highly recommended.

This Samsung thumb drive is versatile, hardy and the compatibility is unmatched. Transferring large amount of files is quite fast and does not really heat up.

Took all of 42 seconds and returned a max usable capacity of 119.x gb, which is right where it should be. Would highly recommend everyone validates their media. But this drive is built like a tank. You can actually boot an OS such as Linux very well with this USB drive. In my opinion these are great value for the money. I have a few of these and not a single issue, compatible with MS and Linux, no problem. Being versatile with such a large capacity is ideal for most people. If used continuously with extreme loads they will get a little warm, but I had no problem with overheating.

After four years of heavy use in countless machines, one of the 256GB flash drives stopped working on September 25, 2025. Fortunately, I had just made a backup copy, so I wasn't too worried. Samsung Support was amazing to work with; the representative provided a link to complete the RMA form and assured me that a UPS return label would arrive by email within 48 hours. I highly recommend these flash drives for their quality, durability, outstanding performance and excellent customer service.The attached screenshots from CrystalDiskMark 9.01 are test results of Default, Peak Performance, Real World Performance and Demo test profiles. I’ve also attached a picture of the Samsung flash drive along with the UGREEN USB to USB C Adapter and JSAUX USB C to USB Adapter. Both of these adapters are great!
